Volunteer Opportunities

The We Care For Kids Council offers a great opportunity for volunteering and making a difference for children. If you feel that Child Abuse or Neglect is wrong or disturbing then we would be a great group for you. We can use your help. Volunteering is an excellent way of giving back to your community and enhancing the quality of life in Montcalm County. We offer different levels of participation to best suit your needs. You shouldn't feel pressured in doing anything. Only spend the amount of time that you are comfortable with. It is important to the council to make sure that volunteers are content with their participation. Listed below are three Levels to consider.

Level 1
This volunteer wants to commit to the council on a regular monthly basis. The volunteer would attend the monthly scheduled meetings and assist in activities and events that are given throughout the year. Eventually you might even want to consider becoming a Board Member. That is up to you. The council meets the first Monday of each month for about three hours. Activities vary throughout the year. You pick what you want to do.

Level 2
This opportunity for volunteering is not something that you can do on a consistent basis but you want to support a group that stands for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. You want to participate but only on a minimal basis. You wouldn't attend regular meetings but would like to engage in an activity from time to time. Of course it is based upon what you want to be involved with. It is totally your choice.

Level 3
Donations to the council are very important and vital to our ability to implement good programming and services. If you do not have any time to volunteer but can commit some money we would like you to consider giving to the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. Funding is an important element to our success. Any funding given to the council can be used as a tax donation.
